Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson has admitted he wants fans to be able to give him the criticism he needs to improve on the pitch.

Jackson has established himself as the Blues’ first-choice striker under Enzo Maresca. And has been in red-hot form, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in 14 Premier League games.

The Senegalese ยูฟ่าเบท forward has often faced criticism from fans for his tendency to miss golden opportunities. And he has said he is open to hearing what they

have to say. “I want to hear people say bad things about me! Criticising me on the pitch is great… It helps you. I like that. “

I haven’t achieved anything yet, I’ve just improved. To achieve that is to score every week, to score 20 or 30 goals or to win trophies.”

A lot was made of Chelsea not signing a striker in the summer having pursued Victor Osimhen for the majority of the window, whilst a deal for Samu Omorodion also collapsed at the last minute.

Jackson has shown he can be the main striker at Chelsea and the Blues clearly believe in him, with a report last month stating they believe the Senegal international is one of the top three strikers in the league.
