Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has invited the agent of Lille striker Jonathan David to discuss a free transfer this summer.

David’s contract with Lille is due to expire at the end of next month and he has been linked with a number of teams throughout the season, including Juventus, Inter Milan and Barcelona.

Napoli, meanwhile, are planning a major spending spree as they prepare for a return to the Champions League and are looking to add a striker with Victor Osimhen expected to leave the club.

They have been linked with the likes of Rasmus Hojlund, Lorenzo Lucca and Ange-Yohan Bonny this season, but their preferred option is David. According

to แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ Sport, talks have already started over David and Manna has already contacted the player’s agent.

Manna has also invited the player’s agent to travel to Naples to discuss a possible move with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Napoli, meanwhile, are planning a summer of major investment to prepare their squad for its return to the Champions League in 2025-26. With Victor Osimhen expected to be sold, the attacking department is an area that will be looked at.

However, even though the 25-year-old will move on a free transfer, it is expected to cost around €34m to sign him, including bonuses, agent fees and the first year’s salary.
